So second week of school is down and outta the way! So good! This week all of us Mormon kids started Seminary!!!! Its been pretty cool. Yes, I am taking zero period seminary. (Bro. Walker is awesome!) for those who don't know, it's the seminary before zero period. so I've got a -1 through 6. :) thing is I promised myself I wouldn't do this again, because I did it last year and my grades suffered from me being sick. :/ but there are too many classes that I want to take, and one in particular that I really don't want to, but have to anyways. (Health) Such a pointless class. (I got a 99% on the first and supposedly hardest test of the year and I wasn't even there with the class when they went over the material cause I came in late in the section)
Anyways my cough from the end of last year is coming back and I really don't care. This year has been a lot more academically focused... and it sucks. I'm a senior and I actually had senior-itis my junior year but apparently it refuses to hit me this year! I actually care about school now more than I ever have in the past, and really it stinks... like my brother's wrestling shoes. yeah...
Anyway yesterday was fun because when I got home all of the doors were locked and I didn't have a house key. We checked all of the doors and all were locked... and it was supper hot outside and I did not want to stay out there to wait for my mom to come home. so me and my brother climbed up on the roof (who's shingles burned my arms) to my sister's window and climbed in the house :) the niehbors were looking at us like we were crazy and school had just gotten out so I think we gave some bad ideas to a few kids walking down the street (heehee... oops.) so we unlocked the front door and got our stuff which we'd left on the porch. and we were just setting down to whatever we had in mind on this fine friday afternoon. when my mother's car pulled up in the driveway... yup. and in Travis' fine words 'that's pretty epic.'

Last Day of Summer
I realized yesterday that I love my family. I get so depressed without them... The whole week last week I didn't want to do anything. Nothing seemed like it would be any fun and I almost got sick just with the empty feeling I had. I come from a big family and life really sucks without 'em. theres no one to fight with no one to do anything for no one to make you laugh. I resorted to making myself laugh... it wasn't the same. It's fun to make others laugh and laugh along, but not by yourself.
I spent time on the computer more than I ever have, and watching stupid movies most of which gave me a head ache. And ACT for five hours every day.Nope it wouldn't do.
So I decided on saturday that I needed to get out and do something luckily there was the Irvine dance. I went with Michelle and Sarah. And met abunch of people I knew there and had almost had no hope of seeing again, some besties I'd had in middle school. :) They played Wake Me Up Before You Go Go and I loved it. I danced with several people who I didnt know and it was great!! We rode home in Sarah's Mustang Convertable and by the end of the ride my hair was a tangled mess!! I got to wear sparkles and do my hair and have a great time out with some of my besties. The only thing that could have made it better was if all of my besties were there. (Yeah Cortny, Alicia, and Travis that means you. :)) It turned out to be just what I needed.
When I got home my dad was watching a movie and it didn't give me a head ache and we stayed up till my mom and younger siblings got home!!
I think the funnest times in life are when your busy and looking forward to something. Its great to always be doing something or planning something in which you know people will have fun and make memories. To be remembered and remember others, places, and activities. Making people feel comfortable is the most important part. Making them feel accepted and needed and loved is what makes the world go round.
Haha. Well now to get to the title of the passage. I'd almost forgotten. Today is my last day of summer. Tommorrow I start my senior year. I can't believe it. I remember as a child I thought school ended after senior year. Haha what a thought! And when my older Siblings had revealed the truth about school how it doesn't end almost ever, I felt great despare. Now I can't wait! I can't wait to go to college and meet new people. Once this year is over I'm gonna conquer the world :) with Masen as my sidekick. So even though I will be missing several of my best friends I am going to have the best senior year thats ever been heard of!!

No ACT Practice Day (yeah, its my holiday)
So the one day I get free of ACT practice is today! In my mind I was gonna maybe watch a little T.V., read a book, get some sun... you know relax a bit, seeing as school hasn't started yet.
But my parents had different ideas. My mother made an appointment for me at the dentist today, my teeth are sparkly clean. Lucky me... That appointment was for twelve o'clock the best time to start laying out for some sun. Afterward my dad asks me to come into his office to make 15 binders for a presentation. If your wondering how long that takes, it is now 5:20 and ive been here since 1 o'clock, and I was going at top speed. The max I've made at any one time of these things is around 45.
At least I got to watch some of John Adams :) yep I'm a history person. I even got to travel across the country on a bus for three weeks on a church history tour that I was super duper excited for!
Anyways now I'm late for something that would have been really fun, boating with my wardies and im not gonna make it :/ it started at 5:15 and it takes about 20 minutes to get there from here. So im super bummed. Trying to look on the bright side... Help me out?
